About Modern Laboratory

Modern Medical Center, a regional reference center established since 1963, is a wholly owned private institution which provides health care services, delivered with compassion for patients and their families, respect for employees, physicians and other health professionals with responsibility to the community it serves.

It offers Laboratory Analysis and Radiology Diagnosis in order to provide critical information for medical professionals that will help improve the health and well-being of the patients.

It was founded in 1963 by Myriam Berjaoui who is a Biologist. She studied at USJ –Beirut- Lebanon. Now, her children are the owners of the Modern Medical Center:

• Dr. Zeina Berjaoui Ariss who studied Pharm.D (USJ-Beirut-Lebanon), specialized in Laboratory medicine and Cytogenetics (ULB-Brussels-Belgium) and specialized in using Radioimmunoassay (RIA) for the diagnosis of hormones and tumor markers (Jules Bordet-Brussels-Belgium) is the head of the laboratory division..
• Dr. Lama Berjaoui who studied Medicine (USJ-Beirut-Lebanon) and specialized in Radiology and Ultrasounds (ParisV- Paris-France) is the head of the radiology division.
• Jamal Berjaoui who studied Business Management (LAU-Beirut-Lebanon) and a masters in Finance (Beirut-Lebanon) is the head of the financial division.
• Myriam Berjaoui is still the Medical Director.

Its Mission is to provide high-quality, cost-effective, responsive and comprehensive diagnostic services.
